Amy Vaughan is a California native born in Long Beach. She graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a BA degree in Communications (Public Relations) and a minor degree in Health Promotion. In 1988, upon graduation, she started her real estate career with Coldwell Banker Relocation in South Orange County. She was an International Relocation Counselor helping expats either sell their home or if they intended to return after their long-term assignment, she handled all aspects of their property management with an unheard of 99.8% client participation (typical client participation is 28%) with 100% excellent ratings.
Amy has a diverse background including Orange County Sheriff Department Academy Level III Graduate, private investigator, sign-language interpreter, real estate investor, owner-manager of a real estate, escrow, mortgage and finance brokerage in Orange & Riverside County, ranked #37 recruiter out of over 15,000 agents, and a community manager of a multi-million dollar independent senior living community where she was adored by her 120 residents and 30+ staff.
Amy has a passion for people and animals. Her vacations are filled with “safe” thrill-seeking adventures like rafting, scuba, skiing, zip-lining, etc. She is skilled at the art of negotiations and she loves going above-and-beyond the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to find her clients a home. She specializes in first-time homebuyers and seniors as she wants to be sure they are protected and fully understand the process.
