How would you like to own a piece of California desert history? Set on approximately 19 fully fenced acres in historic Daggett, Villa Augusti is a rare opportunity to restore a truly remarkable property. Built in 1916 and once home to Helen Muir Funk, daughter of famed naturalist John Muir, the estate retains incredible character with original woodwork, extensive built-in cabinetry, multiple wood-burning fireplaces, vintage details and its distinctive red tile roof. The property includes the main residence, additional living quarters, multiple structures and an in-ground pool, with room for an additional residence. In need of significant restoration, Villa Augusti offers an opportunity to preserve its history while creating something truly extraordinary. Whether envisioned as a restored private estate, historic retreat, unique venue or something entirely your own, this is more than a fixer. It is a chance to bring an incredible piece of desert history back to life.
